One of club members will be taking donations at our usual breakfast meeting on Dec 16 to transport to the Honey Brook Food Pantry the following day. A word from Ken Ross of the Honey Brook Food Pantry on this need/request…

“As always…thank you in advance for all that you continue to do in support of our work at the pantry.  Although food insufficiency and encouraging independence continue to be our primary areas of focus, we will again expand the holiday offerings this year, including distributing all the toys that we collect.

The below chart reflects a 30% increase in kids presently being served and we will be challenged to provide the historical number of toys/kid.

I wanted to simply reiterate that we will again accept and distribute donated, unwrapped toys with a particular emphasis on older kids—although any and all donations are welcomed.”
