Every year, our club purchases hundreds of dictionaries and distributes them to third graders throughout Downingtown and Thorndale. For some, this is their first book they can call their own. Several volunteers assemble with teachers and students in classrooms and auditoriums to distribute the books, all the while teaching them a bit about Rotary by looking up a few words
**Club Members and Volunteers needed (at least 5)** Volunteers will bake or buy cookies for distribution. Additionally, we will make 2-3 large thermos of hot cocoa for distribution. All those donating are asked to assist with the distribution to the Thorndale community during the annual Tree Lighting at the Township building. One of club members will be taking donations at our usual breakfast meeting on Dec 16 to transport to the Honey Brook Food Pantry the following day.
