The after school art group from West Bradford Elementary that we sent to the Brandywine Museum of Art this spring. They and the teacher meet voluntarily after school hours to work on art and learn about art.
The Rotary Club of Thorndale-Downingtown sponsored the visit of the 4th grade student artists from Caln Elementary at the Brandywine River Art Museum on a field trip to see their work in the current Imagine Brandywine exhibition. The students art hangs on the walls of the museum and each painting receives a certificate indicating that that painting was displayed in
District Governor Dave Haradon visited us Friday, October 14. He helped us welcome our new member, Diane Brown, and gave out two citations for Service Above Self for Jack Hines and Dottie McGill.
During its weekly meeting on December 4th the Thorndale Rotary Club presented Chief Brian R. Byerly of the Caln Township Police Department (P.D.) with a check for $1,000 to help fund the D.A.R.E.
